The North Carolina Chamber Federation is an organized grassroots advocacy partnership for local chambers of commerce and their member businesses.  Its purpose is to engage these local chambers, employers and their employees in a pro-business advocacy process that takes advantage of business’ presence in every corner of the state and increase the business community’s public policy influence.

This initiative allows the North Carolina Chamber to develop a larger, unified network of business advocates, giving the North Carolina business community more leverage to influence policies and policymakers on the issues that matter most – the North Carolina Chamber’s Competitiveness Agenda.

At the federal and state levels, advocacy groups – such as the North Carolina Chamber’s federal affiliates, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers – use this grassroots tool with powerful results, and the North Carolina Chamber will not achieve its full potential without harnessing the strength of the thousands of businesses and millions of employees represented by the Chamber Federation.  Federation partners – made up of local chambers and their employer members – will also have more influence in the state legislature through direct input into the process of building the North Carolina Chamber’s member-driven, pro-jobs legislative competitiveness agenda.
